Michael Dal Zotto, ISSI fellow speaking at lectern.

On 16 November 2022, The George Alexander Foundation commemorated its 50th Anniversary at The Ian Potter Queen's Hall, State Library Victoria. During the event, GAF alumnus Michael Dal Zotto shared his fellow experience.

In 2008, Michael received an International Specialised Skills Institute fellowship to travel to Valdobbiadene, the birthplace of prosecco, and learn from the original prosecco producers.

With Michael’s viticultural and winemaking expertise, Dal Zotto Wines became a leader of Prosecco winemaking in Australia. Dal Zotto Wines then supported surrounding wineries in the King Valley Region to enter the Prosecco market.

In 2017, Dal Zotto Wines partnered with The ISS Institute to provide an international fellowship to support a regional-based person to undertake applied research for professional development.
